Sandhills Community College is expanding the offerings at the Hoke Center with the addition of the Certified Production Technician (CPT) & Enhanced Industrial Maintenance class.
Certified Production Technician is designed to train students for mastery of manufacturing production systems and minor manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair. An added enhanced industrial maintenance curriculum will further prepare students for higher-paying employment, and help employers increase productivity, quality, and competiveness.
Class begins on October 1 and will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30-9:30 p.m. with an additional Tuesday or Thursday after January 1. CPT will end on June 24, 2015. The cost will be $185 plus the textbook. Golden Leaf scholarships are available to qualified applicants.
Unilever of Raeford has endorsed this as a quality training program for potential entry-level employment.
