Pat Wasserboehr to Exhibit in Hastings Gallery


Plumb by sculptor Pat Wasserboehr will be on exhibit along with many other works during the month of October in Hastings Gallery in Boyd Library on the campus of Sandhills Community College. Plumb is sculpted from poplar wood by Wasserboehr in 2105. It is   27.5 x  37 x 9.5.

The Hastings Gallery of Art in Boyd Library at Sandhills Community College will exhibit the sculptures of Pat Wasserboehr. The October show will open with a reception on Thursday, October 6 from 3 until 6 p.m.

An artist’s talk will be held at 3 p.m. prior to the reception in the Teresa Wood Reading Room in Boyd Library.

Wasserboehr is an associate professor of sculptor at UNCG. She earned a BFA and MFA degree from the College of Fine Arts, Boston University and has taught at UNCG since 1988. Wasserboehr served as Head of the Department of Art at UNCG from 1998–2010. She has exhibited throughout the United States and abroad including Italy, Spain, New York and California.
